At the end of July, the Network launched the first season of its podcast Comuá – philanthropy that transforms.
The podcast seeks to demonstrate the practices of community philanthropy and socio-environmental justice, contributing to disseminating them and also their potential to support the transformation carried out by civil society organizations operating in the territories.
The first season addresses the Knowledge Program, which offers support for the systematization of knowledge produced by social leaders and experts who work in the fields of community philanthropy and social justice.
There are six episodes, released weekly, in which scholarship holders interview each other about their research processes, findings and opportunities. The first three episodes are now available, and address the Evaluation of socio-environmental microprojects as a philanthropy mechanism based on the ISPN experience, research by Cássio de Souza; Community philanthropy and Environmental Education: analysis of the circle of donors on the North Coast of SP, research by Larissa Ferreira, from FunBEA; It is Strengthening community-based organizations operating in Greater Florianópolis through ICOM Social Impact Consultancies, with Mariana de Assis, from ICOM.
The conception and script for this first season were made by the executive team of Rede Comuá, and the editing was in charge of the Ibori Studio, community media located in the city of Cachoeira, Bahia.
