The Donate to Transform Program brings new challenges and opportunities to strengthen the culture of philanthropy and promote in-depth reflection within the philanthropic ecosystem regarding the trajectory of their agendas.
The Comuá Network is one of the program's anchor institutions, which is currently being implemented in eight countries across the Global South: Brazil, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Palestine, and Uganda.
The long-term goal is to mobilize local and international resources to strengthen civil society in the rights field. To achieve this, it has the following central strategies:
The overall coordination is conducted by an international consortium composed of four organizations: African Philanthropy Network (APN), Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF), Global Fund for Community Foundations (GFCF), and Wilde Ganzen (WG). The Program, initiated in 2021, lasts five years, with a total budget of 24 million euros, and was chosen by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Power of Voices initiative.
